As the result of a series of branding and packaging workshops carried out by Brand42, and the OECS/EDU in the Caribbean, the OECS/EDU sought our expertise to provide direct in-firm design and branding assistance to the sixteen manufacturing firms who successfully applied.
Among the sixteen participating firms were representatives from Saint Lucia, Dominica, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, as well as St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
We worked closely with each of the firms to create a brand architecture designed to articulate and clarify their products’ unique selling propositions as well as to build presence with personality, character and unique shelf presence.
We developed several design routes/concepts for their respective brands, which were then presented to each of the sixteen (16) firms during face to face meetings, in Grenada, St. Vincent, Saint Lucia, and Dominica in September, 2010. At these meetings the respective firms got the opportunity to provide feedback on the various design routes presented and selected the design route they would like to see further developed into actual designs for their specific brands and products, of which many are currently in the production and testing phase.
